Richard A. Cloonan, D.D.S.
From 1987 to 1989, Dr. Cloonan was appointed by The California Dental
Association to a pilot program to provide dental care at Edgemoor Geriatric
Hospital in Santee, California.  He received a recognition award from  The San
Diego County Dental Society for his time and dedication to the program.  “THE
ANSWER” was developed from this pilot program and motivation from the
frustration of taking care of his father who had suffered multiple strokes and a
difficult time brushing his teeth.

Dr. Cloonan spent 10 years in the research and development of a unique tooth
cleaning solution called  “THE ANSWER”.  The product first patent was issued
in 1996. On August 8, 2003 Dr Richard A. Cloonan received his forth patent.
The product was primarily designed for children with developmental disabilities
and for adults that are medically compromised.

Dr. Cloonan is a member of  The  Navy League.  For the past five years
through “OPERATION  INTERDEPENDENCE” he has sponsored  Marine
platoons  deployed overseas in Afghanistan and Iraq .   “The  ANSWER” has
been included in their C-rats in a one ounce squeeze bottle.  The Marines
preferred  the solution over toothpaste since water is so scarce.
